Dear Anonymous We thought long & hard about whether or not to have karaoke at The Restaurant. As you quite rightly point out, many people like a quiet meal out & don't want to be interrupted by karaoke.
However, our karaoke at our previous venue proved so popular that from a business standpoint we would be foolish not to carry on such a successful event.
Furthermore, the karaoke doesn't start & the singers don't arrive before 9pm, sometimes later. The kitchen will be open on Saturdays from 6 until 8pm if anybody wants a quiet meal.
We know we will never please all of the people all of the time, but for many of the winter visitors a Saturday night out in good company, with the opportunity to have a laugh, let their hair down & dance to some classic pop songs in a safe environment is a highlight of their week.
is this a joke ? I love eating out on a saturday night but cant stand karaoke.... please dont do this to people who want a nice meal out in peace
