Every time we say "it's over" there's a comeback!

We thought last Saturday would be the last karaoke of the season, but it appears the singers want more!

Therefore we WILL be having karaoke at MarLou's this Saturday, from 9pm(ish) as always. And I promise that the more singers we have, the fewer songs I will be singing.

Apart from that, the season has definitely wound down now, but we're still working hard to ensure there will be live music at MarLou's over the quiet months. Additionally we are planning some other events to keep the good folks of Costambar amused during the sleepy times ahead.

We had a four-piece band!

It was a great Music Night at MarLou's last night.

Many thanks to everybody who attended and brought their friends with them.

Big thanks go out to our two Band stalwarts "Blind" Bob Curtis & "Toots" Mike Freed who were joined last night by Ivan & David on rhythm and lead guitars.

It was worth the admission just to hear Costambar's senior drummer playing AC/DC!

Live music is back at MarLou's!

This Wednesday we have Mike, Bob and a guest playing at MarLou's from about 8pm.

Saturday night we have karaoke, possibly the last formally arranged time this season.

Let's finish the season with a bang folks!

Who'd have thunk it?

The season is over, all but the shouting.

By 9pm the staff at MarLou's out-numbered the customers 3 to 2, then ...

Karaoke kicked-off.

Several new faces, well new to karaoke, and new singers too.

We did run well into the early hours, & are suffering today big-time.

Sorry Costambar if we kept you awake last night.

Nobody called Security, so it can't have been that bad heehee.

It's a Mystery!

Well folks we appear to have mis-placed Costambar's favourite saxaphone player. He hasn't been sighted since before the weekend, so unfortunately there's no live music at MarLou's this week.

On the bright side though, we do have a full menu available and have decided to add MarLou's Special Fish to the menu permanently because it's proving so popular. This offers you 12 possible combinations of main courses at MarLou's, all designed to be delicious and nutritious.

Thursday night from 8pm we have the quiz.

Saturday it's MarLou's Karaoke from 9pm

On Easter Sunday from 1pm Hill, Sonja & Louise will be feeding local, disadvantaged kids at the beach.

Thursday - Quiz from 8pm

Good Friday - No loud music because that's the Law & don't forget MarLou's Special Fish ONLY RD250! Everybody who's tried it has given it be BIG THUMBS UP!

Saturday - Easter Karaoke with special treats for the singers ....... & maybe the rest of us too!

Easter Sunday - CLOSED

Easter Monday - Open at 6pm as usual.

Well that was a late night for a couple of old farts!

Karaoke last night didn't finish until well after 1am.

It was a lively night with dancing in the aisles, Bob Dylan stylings and the regulars all trying new songs - with varying degrees of success ...

Next Saturday will be MarLou's Easter Karaoke with a few treats in store for the singers courtesy of Louise's culinary genius.
