Burgers with a difference

Rather than do fish & chips every Friday we've decided to provide some variety for you. Tonight Louise is cooking burgers with a difference.

She has created three uniquely different beefburgers for you:-

Garlic, red pepper & spinach;

Onion, celery & roasted almond;

Chilli & pineapple.

All available with or without cheese & served with tortilla chips for just RD195.

Ice Cream Sundaes!

Yes folks we have Ice Cream Sundaes at The Restaurant.

"Food with a difference"

For some time now Louise & I have been trying to find the words to describe what we offer at The Restaurant.

There are many styles of eateries - fast food, fine dining, pub grub, haute cuisine, gourmet, etc - but none of them accurately encapsulate what we do. Luckily for us we overheard somebody telling a friend what he'd experienced at The Restaurant. He called it "food with a difference".

What is "food with a difference"?

It's a constantly varied combination of dishes & flavours. It's homemade soups with unexpected ingredients like potato, onion & cheddar cheese or chilled cucumber. It's main courses that include fresh local vegetables and herbs. It's delicious ice cream sundaes served every day.

Discover food with a difference at The Restaurant - we know you will be pleasantly surprised.

Dispelling a few myths ...

Well we've been open a week now & have been hearing a few myths going around town. Therefore I thought I'd put the record straight on a few points.

You do not need to dress up to visit The Restaurant, jacket, tie or long pants are not required. We do however ask no beachwear please.

You do not need to spend RD500 to dine with us. We have delicious homemade soups & starters available for only RD150 & lighter main courses for only RD195. Full main courses are only RD295 too!

You can just pop in for a drink & chat if you want. Sit outside on the sun terrace or at the bar. Why not come for Happy Hour before 7pm & check out some of the best prices on beer & rum drinks in town.

ANNOUNCEMENTS.

Fridays are Fish & Chips only RD180 for Louises' fantastic fish, chips & coleslaw that we all love.

Sundays we will be serving Traditional Roast Dinner - more details to follow.

P.S.
We're closed on Tuesdays .... almost forgot to mention that ...
